Sketch London

Holiday in Haiti

Hello from LA

Snaps from the day

I dag begynte endelig min spring break, woho!

Alt i alt veldig hyggelig.

Lunch @ Harrods

OMG long time no see, kan ikke huske sist gang jeg blogget... You know, the important things in life.

The weekend

Hope everyone had a great weekend! After having loads of homework I had a somewhat calm one. Movie night on Friday, and a poolparty at my friend Caro's house on Saturday.

Back in Miami

I'm finally back home in Miami, and it feels so good. Eline and I got here on Friday, since then we have been running around getting the apartment in shape, catching up with friends and getting back on track with everything that needs to be done.

Cannes

If I had to choose my favorite vacation ever, this years trip to Cannes would probably take the win.

If you follow me on Snapchat  Leareiff* or on Instagram you might have picked up that I had an amazing holiday. Me and my two BFF's, Eline and Mari packed our bags and spent 9 amazing days by the French Riviera, half way through the trip, we where also joined by Elines cousin Thilde. The amount of laughs we shared must be equivalent to a stomach workout of 1000 situps a day, I feel as if I came home with a six-pack.

It's a bit hard to squeeze our days there into a post that would be organized and feature day by day. I had the intention of taking loads of pictures for the blog, but carried away with all of our fun, the camera got left behind(this always happens to me). But we did take a lot of photos with our phones to document this and that, so I will try to give you guys a recap and glimpse into our trip.

Most of our days where spent soaking up the sun at Bâoli beach on the Crossete. We tried some other beach clubs but this was by far my favorite. Their location on the beach is perfect, the food and snacks are good and it has great ambiance. We started most of the days with lunch there, then headed down to the beach.

Besides staying on the beach during the day in Cannes, we also visited Mala beach. A super nice and a bit secluded beach about 50 min drive from Cannes. There we met up with some of my friends from my time in Paris. We had a great lunch then headed to their boat for some swimming, tanning and waterskiing. I was so thrilled when I got to waterski again, it's been for ever since last time. From there we went to their house in Monaco and had dinner in Monte Carlo followed by going out.

Our days mostly consisted of going to lunch, the beach, dinner and then out. When it came to dinner we tried a few random places by our selves and went to some dinners with our friends. If you are looking for a great place to dine and drink before you head to the club, I would recommend L'ecrin and Bâoli. The both of them are right next to another, but L'ecrin is situated by the water and has a more lounge vibe, while Bâoli plays good music throughout you dinner and then turns into a club.

We went out almost every night. Accept from our night out in Monaco we either went to Gotha or Bâoli. Gotha is huge, but it was always a good time. We where there when Axwell and when Buster Rhimes played, which was a great deal of fun. Bâoli was our go to place and I have so many good memories there.

I'm back!

If you know me, you know I have claimed that quite a few times...

The past years I have been a binge blogger, writing a few words and posting some fun photos, always with the intention of blogging full time again. But that's never been the case. Living in Paris and Miami, traveling around, and frequently going back to Norway I have been a bit to busy too sit down and blog about it.

For those of you who have been wondering what I have been doing with my time, I'll give you a short recap. After a year in paris,  I randomly moved to Miami, Why? It's summer all day everyday, being from Norway that is enough reason to move. Then I tried being an adult for a short time and bought myself an apartment (being and adult was boring). That's pretty much where the adult actions and responsible decision making comes to an end. I decided to make it a year of fun,  My best friend, Eline came to Miami and moved in, and ever since no day has been dull.

This summer I've been in Norway spending time with friends and family, I went on a little girls trip to Cannes (You'll hear more about that in the next post). Now the vacay is coming to an end, and in about a week we head back to Miami.

Postcard of the day

Not much more going on in Greece today. Spent the day by the pool and in the spa + a little game chess game played in the gardens of the hotel.

Yet another day in Greece

Today has been pretty much like all the other days here in Greece; very peaceful and relaxing. But I decided to have a bit of fun on the beach, so I dragged my bother out on a boat with me so I could water ski. I used to do it all the time a couple years back and I just love it. Jumping over the waves and the water splash in your face is such a lovely fun feeling.

Maxin Relaxing

I'm having such a lovely and relaxing time here in Greece. I work my days around what time I want to eat and tan, and that is just it. I feel like my inner Nemo is coming out, and I'm having a blast snorkeling in the water. Later today I think I might take up and old hobby of mine, water-skiing. Miss it so much, so I really want to do that while I'm here!

Earlybird in Greece

Woke up super early this morning (9... sorry I'm in Vacation mode). Starred my day off at the gym and then headed to the breakfast. I guess my time on the treadmill was a bit of a waste after I satisfied my self with Nutella crepes, oh well. After sometime on the beach the clouds came so now I'm headed to the spa for some treatments.

Bikini - Lindex, Hat and scarf - H&M, sunnies  - Ray Ban

dinner outfit

I'm so in vacation mode, its like eat, sleep drink and just adding tan and swim. After a couple hours on the beach I was ready for dinner. The hotel had several different restaurants, but we decided to go with the buffet today. And let me tell you, I think I ate my weight in deserts and carbs. Gym time tomorrow morning!

Greeceing

This week my brother and I where talking about taking a trip to Greece together. Since I'm moving to Miami and going to spend a lot of time in the states, I wanted a last European vacation before I leave the continent and head across the pond. So this morning we jumped on a plane headed to Corfu in Greece. It's only been a couple hours since we arrived, but I'm loving it so far. We decided to stay at a 5 star resort so we could just relax and spend a lot of time at the hotel. The coming days I plan to spend focusing on my vitamin D intake (aka, getting a nice tan), working out and going to the spa.

June has arrived and with it, it has brought outstanding summer weather here in Oslo. I spent my day yesterday at the beach and plan on doing the same today. Hope you guys have a wonderful day and enjoy this first day of june!

May Haul

As some of you might be able to tell, this is my first video in a long long time. Hens I was a bit uncomfortable and "nervous". So maybe  bit to much babling away, but here is the video anyways, room for improvement!

30.05.2014

Found this dress and hat, while I found myself on a accidental shopping spree today... Woppseee. I'm completely in love with the combination, I find it so casual cool. Thought I might do a haul-video later today. Crossed my mind I haven't done one in a super duper long time, so why not...?

Dress from Zara and hat from H&M.

Boat life

Had the most fab day with my girls today. Spent the day tanning, eating, drinking and enjoying the nice weather here in Norway. Nice and sunny weather in Norway is a rare thing. So I am quite happy that Norway blessed me with nice weather this week before I head off to Miami.

Girls trip to Sørlandet

This week Eline, Mari and I have gone to the south of Norway, to relax at Eline's beach house. We had a little road trip driving down yesterday. It's funny, having been away from Norway for a year I now find it even more beautiful and really appreciate the beauty that surrounds me. Later on I´m gonna go for a swim after a nice seafood lunch. Stay tuned.

Loui enjoying the great weather.

Home decor

So for those of you who didn't already know, this summer I'm moving to Miami. It is so much to be excited about, but right now, the only thing I can think about is how much I'm looking forward to decorating my apartment. To makes the days go faster I spend countless hours on Pintrest and sites such as One Kings Lane, to find ideas and inspiration. I all ready have a pretty good idea of how I want it to look. Here are some of my inspiration photos.

Paris Q&A answers

Loooong overdue I have decided to answer all of the questions from the Q&A about Paris. But now that I have finished a year in Paris, I can fully answer them all. They are mostly in Norwegian, so I'll reply in Norwegian as well.

beundrer deg!: Jeg studerte International business administartion.

Får norske jenter mye oppmerksomhet i Paris?

Hvordan valgte du Paris i stedet for USA?

Playdate @ Versailles

So on tuesday Alex and I made it a point to visit the castle of Versailles. I am after all leaving Paris on Friday, and having spent a year in the city, without visiting the land mark would be a bit of a shame. The both of us thought it would be a a hit&run, in and out just looking the the most known things. In contrary we found ourselves playing in the gardens and rowing the boats in the lake for quite some time, and jittering and laughing away. Time flew by and even before we had entered the castle we had been there for hours. I highly recommend you all to put aside a day to spend in this beautiful place, the ambiance of the whole estate is just magnificent. After all, Alex and I both loved it!

Sunday walks in Paris

Last night was my last night clubbing in Paris (so bitter sweet). Today I woke up with a itch to get out and rome the city for one last sunday walk and just absorb its feel.

3 minutes into our walk along the Seine it started PORING down, like there was no tomorrow. Luckily Alex brought her umbrella, and after I got to play around with my inner Mary Poppins.

After lunch the weather and the mood shifted completely, and Paris showed itself from it's most beautiful side, with not only one but two rainbows and sun shining.

Madrid post part 2

Like always I'm a bit late posting but here you have the second post from madrid. The trip was such a nice distraction from what we had waiting for us back in Paris, exam prep... The last day we didn't do much, we went to the park, shopping and to an amazing brunch. At night we went to a super cool bar called Ramses. I would highly recommend you go there on a sunday afternon. It's the perfect place to cure a hangover with even more drinks and tapas.

A day at the tennis

So our original purpose of taking this trip was to attend the tennis tournament my friend Beatrize's friend was sponsoring with his (super cool) sunglass company Mr. Boho. It was such a good day, with great friends, weather and watching the games. Even though we where hanging a bit after the night before, that ended a 6 am, we managed to have a amazing time. When we got back to the hotel on the other hand, we all nearly passed out, sooo tired.

Off to Madrid

At this moment I'm at the airport headed to Madrid with my girls. (I was when i wrote this post earlier). Paris will have to do with out me this weekend, while we take over the Spanish capital. The purpose of the trip is to attend a tennis match + soak up some sun and alcohol (of course, the little alcoholics that we are) . Last time I went to Madrid with Alex and her brother we had so much fun, so the city has a lot to live up to this time. I'm sure that with all my amazing friends it will be a blast.

My bestie Alex getting ready for departure. Funny story, she was in charge of booking tickets and planing our trip to the airport. First she managed to spell my email incorrect, so I never received my confirmation code. After mixing up and forgetting our flights departure time, it turned out she had also booked my ticket under the wrong name (...). Mental note to text trip, don't leave Alex in charge. Haha!

24.04.14

I have had such a nice and relaxing Easter break in Paris. But now it's time to go back to school mode and put in an extra effort the last month. It's so surreal to think that I don't even have four weeks left in AUP. To those who where wondering, yes I'm leaving Paris. But I'll say more about that in another post. Anyways, this weekend my friends from Norway have come to visit, I'm so excited to show them around Paris and take them to all my fave places.

Easter break

Spring is finally arriving in Paris and my Easter break has just begun. Before school is over I only have 3 weekends left in Paris. Time has just flown by, I can't believe it. I feel like the next days of I should spend doing the Parisian things I have yet to do, before it?s to late. Hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing easter break.

My summer plans

So finally in the mood and have the inspiration to blog again. It's been a while so I'll give you a update of what I have been doing since I last blogged. Except from school, friends and the occasional clubbing (which is the 3 most significant things I do), I have been planning my summer break. Or more like me and my friends have been planning ours. I'm so excited so I wanted to share it with you all. After spending some time home in Norway in June I will jet off to Miami, where I will meet up with my favorite person, Alexandrea. After some short days in Miami we will join our friends in Haiti. I can't even describe how excited I am. I actually don't think I have ever met anyone more fun than Haitians. Norwegians have got nothing on them. They take the word fun to the next level.

Leaving Haiti after 10 days, our group of Haitian friends + Alexandria and I will travel together to her family's home in Cali, Colombia. After some time in the city we will again change destinations, to her family farm. There we will continue the party and go horseback riding etc., fun farm stuff. If you would have asked me a year ago I never thought Haiti and Colombia would be the place I would spend my summer this year. It's not the typical destination for Norwegians. Something that makes me think it's even cooler.

Please share your plans, I would love to hear them ♥

A blast from the past

So a little to late but here it is, my last Miami post. I all ready miss it so much; it must have been one of my favorite vacations of all time. The weather, the people everything! The last days where so good, our final night ended up being spent all at the club story and then straight off to the airport. Not the most pleasant flight, but so worth it though! Looking back at all the photos makes it so bitter sweet. But one thing is for sure. I'm going back in not long.

Loving the sunshine

There is no better feeling than knowing that the sun is up and you can jump straight in the pool, the minute you wake up. I'm pretty sure all of you Norwegians get what I'm talking about... I cannot even begin to explain how much I'm loving the warm weather, compared to Paris. Wearing shorts, dresses and sunglasses everyday actually makes me really happy.

Sunday fun day

Hello sweethearts,

Still having a blast in Miami. After a couple nights of high alcohol consumption we decided to have a chill day and just take it easy. We stared off by just chilling by the pool, followed by lunch and shopping in the groove. Later we drove over to Wynwood which is an area with graffiti on all the buildings, really cool. We ended the day by going to dinner in Midtown in a restaurant called Gigis, the food was to die for! Unfortunately my camera had ran out of battery by that time.

Miami

Spring break continues... Finally reunited with my Love, Alex, nothing beats Miami with her! Got here on Friday and so far we have mostly been eating, drinking and enjoying the sun. heheheh... Very productive! A bunch of our good friends from Paris are also here, so it's like a little Paris reunion when we go out. So much fun.

Trying to do the impossible... Have had so many laughs with this funny one. The fact that it took her 30 minutes to fill up gas is just indescribable.... Our life is a joke.

The sunshine state

Hey guys. Spring break is finally here! Well I can't complain, I only had a month of school before we were off again. I spent my first days off flying to Chicago and spending some time with the fam. Then I flew down to Tampa, Florida with my aunt and uncle for some relaxation. Tomorrow I'm back in the air,  destination  Miami. Alex is waiting for me there, and we are spending a week together. Love spending time with my family but a week in Miami with Alex is just my cup of tea, some fun in the sun!

Keeping it Casual

We all have those days after a fun night, where we just need to keep it casual and comfy, I bet you all know what I'm talking about. For me these days require big hoodies and shades(!), now and then a beanie is good as well, to cover up that messy party hair.

My hoodie is from Dolce & Gabana (mens), get similar HERE,  and the sunnies are from Mango get similar HERE & HERE

More L-o-n-d-o-n

Such a bad blogger, it's been over a week and I haven't even come to post my last post on London. If you have a blog you might as well use it. Well I say better late than never. So here you go, a bit more London pics.

It was in many ways a whirlwind of a weekend, which was laid out like this; eat, drink, sleep repeat. Eat, drink, sleep repeat. We wanted to incorporate some touristic things into that pattern as well, but as hard as you try we can't always be super women and do it all. So yeah, we stuck to what we know best eating and partying.

Yumm yumm yumm. We went to the organic place Good life eatery. Such delish and tasty meals, and being on a liquid diet, we felt super good mentally and physically absorbing something healthy.

Secong night we hit Tramp, such a fun place with even more fun friends. Love my girls!

New day new door. Wearing; mango jacket, Zara jeans and top, tods shoes, balenciaga bag, topshop hat, Hermes belt.

Now I hear so much good things and tastes about this place all the time, so I told the girls YOU ARE TAKING ME. Burger and lobster, at Harvey Nichols.Such a good way to end a weekend of fun.

And then a litte treat to end with, ice cream bar at Harrods. Need I say more?

London calling

The great thing about Paris is that London is just a train ride away. Take a little nap and 2 hours later you are in London. This weekend the girls and I decided we needed a fun party weekend outside Paris, so we jumped on eurostar, and swosh we where in England.

The first night, we met up with all of Farah and Tamam?s friends from Saudi. I always joke about how much I love Saudi people, but I genuinely think they are the nicest people I have ever met, love them! Dinner was set at Farah?s favorite, Sumosan, before we headed over to District, to see Kid Ink.

Touchdown Paris

New week, new beginnings. For me the week started today, hence I was in Norway until yesterday night. I really feel like a proper student when my carry-on is filled up with my economics and marketing books, and the flight is not endured with sweet dreams in the sky, but readings and notes.

Anyways, it?s always great to be back ?home?, in Paris. Today I started off the day and week in a good manner, coffee with my dear Alex, before heading over to Macroeconomics. At this moment, I?m having a small break before I take on an English class. Have a awesome day everybody!♥
